About 'Interior and Home'

I enjoy the quiet challenge of noticing and re-noticing familiar objects and small moments around the house, including the unplanned appearances of pets drifting into view. Sometimes the images lean towards deliberate, almost product-like compositions; at other times they are instinctive captures of things that refuse to be ignored.

I bought this old Bakelite telephone twenty-odd years ago from a stall in Camden Town, London. For many years it worked, forcing you to remember phone numbers and rewarding you with a rather loud, distinctive ring. Digital lines have since silenced it, but it remains a beautiful piece of history.
